February’s Events in Dubai

What could February 2018’s memories be ? Dubai is spreading amusement over its places by creating several events, and below some that are chosen to fit within student’s admiration. Get ready with either your classy, casual, or formal wear and be on the top of any of these following events’ list:
-Aida
The Opera “Aida” expresses a love story between Aida and Radames, who face hardships getting together because of the battle between their opposing nations. Will they choose loyalty to their countries or their love for each other?
Aida’s dress rehearsal is on February 13th.

–Ballet Under the stars 2018 “21 +”
“Covent Garden Dance Company” performances came from London to interest you by the “Ballet Under the Stars” show.

-Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival
A three day event that entertains audience with music by different bands.
On the first day, The British Rock band, Duran Duran, will be performing their biggest successes from their forty-year-career embracing, “Rio” and “Hungry Like The Wolf.” They will also amuse the audience by presenting from their latest album, “Paper Gods.” Along with Renegade Brass Band, “a 12-piece band from the UK that play R&B tunes with a full brass band,” will also perform at the festival.
On the second day of the event, John Legend, ten time winner of the Grammy award, will join the Jazz festival singing “Green Light,” “Glory,” and “All of Me.”Following this act, the US singer China Moses, who mizzes jazz, soul, and R&B will entertain the audience.
Headlining the final day, the Latin music star Ricky Martin will wrap it up through introducing himself to Dubai by performing “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “Vente Pa’ Ca’,” and “She Bangs.” In addition, Poncho Sanchez, who won the Grammy award as a Latin jazz musician will also be present.

-Eugene Onegin at Dubai Opera
This event houses a collaboration between Dubai Opera and the famous Eugene Onegin opera, which explains a story of a young, wealthy protagonist. Later, when he gets attracted to a girl named, Tatyana, he discards her love mentioning he is “ill-suited for marriage.” How do you think the story could end?

–Dubai Food Festival 2018
A festival combining the three-course menu at Dubai’s eateries and Beach Canteen, where food trucks are spread out on the sand: Etisalat Beach Canteen 2018 (22 February – 10 March), Dubai Restaurant Week (22 February – 3 March), and Hidden Gems Meal Deal (22 February – 10 March).

-Shaolin Warriors Live in Dubai
Telling a story of a young child’s initiation and journey to become a warrior, 21 Kung Fu masters will be presented for the first time in Dubai.
