AUD Wins Volleyball Championship for the First Time
The American University in Dubai’s Knights won for the first time the men volleyball championship of the U.A.E Higher Education Sports Federation after defeating the four-year champion, the United Arab Emirates University.
The Knights dethroned UAEU in the final game played on Monday at AUD, with a score of 3-0. They won the first set at 25-15, the second at 25-14, and the third at 25-13.
“I’m very proud of the effort and skill my team showed today, we have been training and practicing every week to achieve this,” said AUD’s captain, Uroš Lalic.
